CRUISE PORTS BY REGION
It’s a trendy, modern hotel as you’d expect in the middle of a cosmopolitan mecca. While they don’t offer a shuttle, you could literally walk to the ship (you do have to cross the causeway), or walk just across the street to the Coral Way stop that heads to the port. Not every hotel offers free rides — or is near the trolley — but many offer cheap transportation to the cruise ships. A hotel close to Miami International Airport is perfect if you have a late flight into the city or are flying out early in the morning. The airport is less than a ten-minute drive or shuttle bus ride from cruise terminals.
Terminal GTerminal G sits at the far west end of the cruise port. It’s literally across the street from Garage G, making it extremely easy to park and get to your ship in just a couple of minutes. The terminal currently sees use from Royal Caribbean on weekend trips when the cruise line has multiple ships in port. Known as “The Crown of Miami” this cruise terminal is operated by RCI in collaboration with Miami-Dade County.
